This expanded soundtrack was released in 1994 in the UK by Silva Screen Records Ltd. (FILMCD 132). It contains 23 cues and almost 78 mins of music, including alternate versions used in the U.S. theatrical release. It is almost twice as long as the original soundtrack release by Varèse. Some interesting details about the soundtrack can be found at Superman Cinema.

I have encoded these music files as both MP3 (192kpbs) and Ogg Vorbis (Quality Level 2, ~96kbps). Ogg Vorbis is an open source audio compression format which produces higher quality audio at lower bitrates than MP3, and at smaller file sizes. Ogg files can be played in nearly any media player. Windows Media Player and iTunes require the installation of an Ogg plug-in: Directshow Filters for WMP and Xiph QuickTime Components for iTunes. Some portable audio players do not support Ogg, which is why I also provide MP3.
