In addition to the ongoing Supergirl series, Supergirl has been a regular in the excellent Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes and starred briefly in Teen Titans. Legion is set in the 31st century and features a separate storyline that does not crossover with the present-day storyline for the most part.
Confused by the order of all the issues and crossovers in this series? Reader Daniel has sent in a handy Supergirl Chronology for 2004-2007, up to Supergirl #23. Does not include Teen Titans or Legion, which has its own, self-contained chronology.

Supergirl was transported to the 31st century due to events of Infinite Crisis (Infinite Crisis 7, May 2006) and appeared to the Legion in issue #16 claiming that she was dreaming the whole thing. She seems like a different person in this series (probably due to better writing more than anything else), and it is unclear how her time in the Legion fits into her chronology. Scenes in World War III #3 (June 2007) suggest that she was split into two when she was struck by a zeta beam, and one version of her exists in the 31st Century while the other continued on in the Supergirl series. This has never been explained or even alluded to in the Supergirl series, but is supposed to have taken place sometime during issues #3-5.
